Couldn't wait!

Have had this imaginesce paper sitting on my desk waiting for a photo on CD (which I've "misplaced") of my Grandmother. Oh, and someone said something somewhere about possibly doing a page with Purple or Yellow - brain sparked and I couldn't wait, so I did this... Thanks to the EB girls who made suggestions for the title/journaling.

Okay, finished these layouts today from the Scrapframes crop last night:

Thank you so much Felicity for the pirate papers! And you can finally see what I did with them! "Ice-cream" is my first venture into Bam Pop! Quite a challenge as I didn't have a sketch to fall back on, so this one is actually all my own work!!

Updating!

Cleaned up this layout so its a bit more jazzy and cleaner on the bottom.
Visited my Mum with all the kids last weekend and was most surprised to feel totally out of place and wishing we were back in Sydney. Usually I'm totally homesick for Canberra by the end of a stay. I guess I'm finally "happy" where I am. Home is where me and my family are! Only took me 35 years to figure it out!! LOL

sickness

Caitlyn had a convulsion on Friday morning. I got sick on Sunday with whatever she had, to the point where I couldn't get out of bed on Monday morning. All of us have been under the weather to various degrees - slapped cheek has done the rounds, and Darren's had gout and his elbow went last week too.

Sad and sorry lot, we are... Anyway, I'm feeling better though not 100%. Going to get these convulsions investigated too - I'm worried about Caitlyn having them when she's at school next year. That's it for the minute - no scrapping.

This is me using the uniform shop laptop!! Yay! And probably the last time I'll be able to do this too. But I'm very excited - now I've got to learn MYOB and that will make my inventory control SOOOOO much easier!

Scrappin galore!

Well, I've done a touch of scrapping... The Button Queen one is using a little of the HUGE stash that Amanda gave me (thank you!!!).
Blowin' Bubbles - I've edited the photos in a Clair style and used a Becky Fleck Sketch to do this one.
And this is a challenge for 3AS to use lots of buttons, 3 bits of patterned paper, a photo corner, two bits of chipboard (not including title) and a piece of ribbon. Love how it turned out!! And fulfiled my aim to get some older photos scrapped! This is Ryan at about 9 months, so December 2001!!
